I just came back from a 4 days trip to Berlin with my boyfriend and 3 friends. I've listed all the places we've been to that are worth going. The food was really good and really cheap, we've never spent more than 10 euros each for mains, drinks & deserts.

Anna Blume Cafe:

This was the prettiest place we've been to. It's a really good place for brunch and the cakes are delicious. To be honest noting was bad in this Cafe, we went there twice during out trip, the first time for breakfast which was really nice and filling (eggs, bread, butter, jam, salmon, cheese, fruits...) and we went back the last day for a late lunch and it was also very nice. You can choose to sit inside the Cafe or outside on the terrace. It's slightly more expensive than other places in Berlin but still very affordable.

Zeit Fur Brot:

Very good bakery and cafe, perfect for a quick breakfast before a long session of shopping.Everything is fresh and made in the back where we can see the baker working behind a glass window.

I Due Forni:

Best Pizza Ever. I honestly can't remember the last time I had such a good pizza. This place is run by italians and the pizzeria used to be called the 'Punk Pizzeria' it's not so much anymore but you can still see it through the decoration.

P & T (Paper & Tea):

As it's name indicates P&T sells paper & tea. If you like tea as much as I do this place is for you. Each tea is displayed in a little glass cup that you can open to smell the blends. My favorites was the one you see on the picture which has a delicious smell and taste of roses. I also got some Chai tea which is nice and spicy. They also have funny cards displayed everywhere in the store like "Support your local pot dealer".

The Dairy:

Great little breakfast place, you can have freshly made juices, coffee, tea and sandwiches. You can also pick your bread I had 2 'Lamerica' once as a sandwich and once as a bagel, both delicious.

Make sure to check :

John Muir: Amazing cocktails in a nice hidden bar in Kreuzberg. red velvet curtains, candle lights, Cinnamon smell and jazz music in the background. You get the picture.

Chili Chutney: Afghan restaurant run by the happiest and most welcoming man. The food is really good and different from anything you've had before. Everything was freshly cooked in front of us by the man himself in his tiny kitchen.

Alarabi: Moroccan restaurant and shisha bar. All cocktail are 4.50 Euros and the shishas are 4 Euros. We came back twice and had a great time both times. The waiters are really nice and provided a great service.

Spatzle & Knodel: Just few steps away fron Alarabi this is the perfect place to try German specialities. We've tried everything from Beef Goulash to Kaspatzle (german mac'n'cheese ) as well as Snaptz & Apple Strudel.

Wühlischstraße 20, 10247 Berlin, Friedrichshain

Burger AMT: Really really good burgers. it's also few steps away from Alarabi and Spatzle & Knodel. You probably wonder why you would have burgers in Berlin but trust me these burgers are nothing but common and definitely worth the trip. The service is really bad unfortunately but once you passed your order you won't have to worry about that anymore.
